Improving data sharing in trunk (Beta4.2)

Many of you have expressed -- at times passionate -- interest in
extending the data sharing facilities in OMERO. This work, with the
catchy name of ticket:1434, will be included in 4.2.

Using OMERO.web, users can already define read-only sets of data, and
share them with other users on the system. Now, we are enabling
another data sharing mechanism across all OMERO clients. We still
limit data sharing within the OMERO system by allowing sysadmins to
define groups within which data can optionally be shared. When
enabled, group members can more fully collaborate on each other's
data. Our goal is to release this functionality for production systems
with OMERO 4.2

To begin our internal testing, I have committed several far-reaching
changes today to trunk. The changes require a new database
(OMERO4.2-DEV__0) and as with previous internal versions, we will not
be providing update scripts.

Please only use trunk if you are willing to test these new, certainly
error-wrought changes with us, but NOT for production data. As we
stabilize, we will write to the list with specific revisions and/or
preview downloads which are intended for wider testing. The final
version will come with upgrade scripts for use with your production
databases.

As always, thanks for your support,
~Josh
