Open Microscopy Environment

Hi,

I would like to open and analyze ".xlef" and ".lof" files with Fiji. However, it seems that this is currently not possible.

These files are generated with Digital Lightsheet (DLS) on the Leica TCS SP8 microscope and an autosave mechanism.

What should I do?

Hi Jakob,

Thanks for contacting us. The Leica LOF format has certainly been brought to our attention by the community in the last few months (see this thread for instance)

We have received some specification documents from Leica which confirmed supporting these new files will require the development of a new format reader and a minor version increment of Bio-Formats. At the moment, we are collecting additional test files and have no active work engaged on developing the thread.
