omero for hight content screening analysis

Postby glyn_nelson » Fri Jul 14, 2017 9:32 am

Hi,

We are looking to invest in a high content screening platform and have seen the commercial version of Omero offered in the form of Columbus. This is capable of interfacing to a quite nice analysis tool called High Content Profiler via Spotfire.

Does anyone know if there is an equivalent structure or type of analysis plugin that works using the native Omero or Glencoe version? I would be interested in open source or commercial packages, dependent on the licensing structure/cost.

Any thoughts or advice greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Glyn

Hi Glyn

Thanks for your email. As you’ve seen, PerkinElmer have a very nice solution, integrating OMERO 4.4, High Content Profiler, and Spotfire. A lot of people use that and it works well for them.

Various people on this forum or the mailing lists have built their own solutions, integrating among others, OMERO 5.x, CellProfiler, ImageJ plugins, and/or libraries from OpenCV. Have a look at the archives for more info.

If you want to contact Glencoe Software about their offering, email info@glencoesoftware.com

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Jason
