Hello,

I am currently running OMERO 5.2.5 and OMERO.figure 1.2.1. I would like to upgrade OMERO.figure. Which version should I install?

Thanks.

Jay

Hi Jay,

For 5.2.5 compatibility, you'll have to stick with Figure 1.2.1.

You'd need to upgrade to 5.2.6 minimum to install a newer version of Figure, which will enable you to install Figure right up to 3.0.0, though with some of the later features not taking effect (look-up tables, fonts).

The 5.2.5 -> 5.2.6 being a minor version bump, this should be a painless upgrade. cf http://www.openmicroscopy.org/2016/10/0 ... 5-2-6.html

All the best,

Kenny

Hello,

My OMERO server has just been bumped up to 5.2.8.46. I want to confirm again which version of OMERO.figure I can now upgrade to. Thanks.

Hi Jay,

Stepping back through the versions (#1) and checking the release notes at PyPi (#2), the latest Figure which supports 5.2.6 appears to be 2.0.1.

I know I said in my previous post that you'd be able to install Figure 3.0.0 - but perhaps I was mistaken. Others may well know more. I'd personally go with the compatibility as stated on the release notes.

#2 https://pypi.python.org/pypi/omero-figure/2.0.1

Best,
