Open Microscopy Environment

Hi there,

I didn't see Red hat being one of the options on the installation guide for the server. But I'm wondering if it's possible to set up Omero server on Red Hat?

Dear Hang,

Yes, RedHat is supported. The documentation refers to CentOS, but the CentOS documentation applies equally to RedHat. Where the documentation refers to "CentOS 6" or "CentOS 7", you can read "RHEL 6" or "RHEL 7" instead. Other than minor cosmetic details, CentOS and RedHat are largely identical, and OMERO will run on both platforms using the same installation instructions.
