Leica MZ16 Stereo Microscope file format

Hi,

I have taken some images on a Leica MZ16 Stereo microscope but when I try to open them with Bioformats importer the scale is not recognised. Each image is saved as a series of files: .tif, .anx, .xml, .eax and .sbx. I can open the .xml file and retrieve the scale value manually and this differs from what bioformats picks up.

I tried the latest trunk of Bioformnats but no luck.

The images can be sent if required.

Thanks a lot.

Sam

This format is not officially supported yet, but we do have plans to support it in the not-too-distant future. Please see this ticket on our issue tracking system for further details:

http://trac.openmicroscopy.org.uk/ome/ticket/4179

If you would like to be automatically notified of updates to that ticket, please let me know (along with the email address to which updates should be sent).

The images can be sent if required.

It would be very helpful if you could send one or two datasets. I will send instructions on how to send files in a private message.

Regards,
-Melissa
