Hi Jordi,

I tried the same steps as before, but this time using OMERO server 5.4.7 and was not able to reproduce what you have seen.

In the meantime, what may fix the issue for you is to delete the thumbnail folder in the omero data directory on the server (the directory is configured on the server as omero.data.dir and there is a Thumbnails folder in there). The thumbnails should regenerate when you try to view the images again and hopefully they should appear in OMERO web.

Thanks,
Riad

Hi Riad,

This is so strange, I have no idea what the problem might be then.

When I tried the demo OMERO server I had no problem, except that it was a bit slow maybe, but otherwise I could see the images all the time.

I will ask the owner of the server we are using to delete the thumbnail folder and let's see if that helps.

Thanks!

Best,

Jordi

Dear Jordi,

Let's hope the regenerated thumbnails work for you! Do keep us posted.

We agree that the demo server has been a bit slow lately: we're actively investigating that issue.

Cheers,
Mark
