Open Microscopy Environment

At the moment I only see LDAP authentication ( https://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/support/omero5.1/sysadmins/server-ldap.html ).
It would be nice to have Kerberos possibilities or ways to integrate with Shibboleth.

Are there any plans towards the future?

It's currently listed under our "federation" milestone. You can see and comment on the card https://trello.com/c/z1DCSKyo/2-single-sign-on-authentication. Any information on your use cases or priorities is welcome!

At the moment, there's no concrete timeline for that work, but if things go well, we should be starting on the work within the next few major versions.
