There is now the ability to download original files for images via webgateway.
This url

/webgateway/archived_files/download/<imageId>/
will download a single file if there is only 1 for that image.
If the image has multiple original files, they will be compiled into a zip, named the same as the image, and downloaded. NB: this will take some time if there are a large number/size of files.
