Instalation Omero.server Windows 7

Hello

I can't install Omero.server

This does not work:

bin\omero config set omero.db.name myDatabase
bin\omero config set omero.db.user me
bin\omero config set omero.db.pass TopSecret

Hi Milena,

a few questions so I can pinpoint your problem:

• Did you install Ice?
• If not, did you see the "Ice 3.3.x installed" section under "Prerequisites" in the documentation?
• If so, what version did you download?
• and after downloading, did you set the environment variables and restart?

Hi i have the same issue but in win XP:

I have installed:
ActivePython-2.7.1.3-win32-x86.msi
Ice-3.3.1-VC80.msi
jdk-6u23-windows-i586.exe
postgresql-9.0.3-1-windows.exe

I have changed enviromental variables:


PATH = %APPDATA%\Python\Scripts;C:\Ice-3.3.1\bin
PYTHONPATH = C:\Ice-3.3.1\python
Path = C:\Python27\;C:\Python27\Scripts;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Ice-3.3.1\bin

I have restarted several times.

And i still get:

As outlined on the windows installation page in the prerequisites section, you must use Python 2.5 if you are using the Ice VC80 binaries.
