How to rename the images in dataset ?

Postby dskanth » Wed Aug 26, 2009 1:19 pm

Hi, iam new to Omero, and i would like to know how i can rename an image in my dataset.
When i right click on the image, i see the options like: Delete, View, Cut, Copy, etc.
There is no option to rename an image.

Please, can anyone guide me, how i can rename an image, and for this, what files i need to modify. :)

If you look in the "metadata" panel on the right, beside the image name there is a little "pen" icon. If you click this icon, the name will become editable. Also if you double-click on the image name, it will become editable. After editing the name, you need to click the save button at the top of the panel to save the change to the server.

You can rename Projects and Datasets in the same way.
