about ROI

Dear everyone.

I'm wondering how to decide the ROI from an image?
- If we have binary mask images for each cell (or one mask image for many cells by delineating cell region
boundary), how can we assign the ROIs?
- Can the ROI be a 3D object? (or just 2D object)

Best,
BK

There are some reasonable examples of ROI usage here:

ROIs are made up of 2D shapes which may or may not be bound to a Z-section or Timepoint. If you have a 3D ROI use case we'd certainly be happy to hear about it.
