Hi chettia,

As I understand
There is only two types of account : admin and user.
Admin can create groups ... but I didn't find a way to manage a particular group as a leader.
In a same group, all people have the same permission right.
Right ?

This page gives some more info on permissions in the current 4.3 version of OMERO: http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/supp ... rmissions/

Within a group you can have members and owners. Owners have some increased powers: E.g. they can add existing users to their group, they can also access data belonging to other members, even if the group is "private" etc.

However, we've not done a good job of documenting the exact powers that group owners have in 4.3, or exposed them consistently in the clients. This will be much improved in the 4.4 release, which should be released "soon".

Also might be handy: http://cvs.openmicroscopy.org.uk/snapsh ... d4-3-2.mov and http://cvs.openmicroscopy.org.uk/snapsh ... s4-3-2.mov
