OMERO.insight ROI Manager ignores text color

Hi,

when I change the "Fill Color" / "Line Color" for a text-type ROI in OMERO.insight 5.0.4, the color of the text-snippet does not change. That means to only color users can choose is the standard light grey, which is often not a good choice due to backgrounds with the same hue.

Is there a way to change the color of the text-type ROIs?

EDIT: I just found out that the color changes once you save the ROI data (unlike with all other types of ROIs, where the color changes instantly). It would probably be better if this also changes immediatly. Also, I did not find a way to check wether a certain image has ROIs associated to it without actually opening the ROI manager. Shouldn't this be displayed in the image details / annotations pane?

Hi Tristan,

thanks for pointing this out. I add this issue to our ROI To-Do list.
There is a way you can find out which images have ROIs without opening the ROI tool for every image: You can use the filter tool (see 'filter images' in the central panel's toolbar). In a future release the number of ROIs will also be shown on the right hand side metadata panel.
