save to omero from imageJ

Postby LeroyAlex » Tue Nov 18, 2014 4:09 pm

Hi,

So like in the title, my question is:
Once you open an image using OMERO.insight-ij, then work on it, can you save it as directly in Omero server?or you have to save it on your computer and "re-import" it...
I think this topic answers this question:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7652
So if i understood well we can't save it back to omero directly.
But since it's a post from august, i was wondering if there any news in the current 5.0.5 version.
If not, could you give an idea of which update will allow that?

Best,

Alex.

Hi

As suggested,we do not have a one click solution for (re)importing images back to OMERO from ImageJ.
We are currently reviewing and working on the ImageJ workflows.

Our immediate priorities include,

i) Saving images back to OMERO from ImageJ.
ii) Saving/converting ImageJ roi’s back to OMERO.
ii) Saving ImageJ sessions as annotations back to OMERO.

We look forward to including most of these in our 5.1.0 release (which will be early 2015).

Please let us know if we have left out something that might be useful.
This will help us manage our priorities in the best possible way.

Best,
Balaji
