Postby Rémi_Muller » Tue Dec 15, 2015 10:47 am

Hello,

I try to delete some image in a workspace. But when I click to "Delete the selected elements".. a message appears "Multi-image filesetes cannot be partially deleted" and "You tried to delete 6 images from a fileset, leaving 16."

My image are in .lif, Leica's format. I don't know if the have a link with this problem. Can you help me ?

Regards,

Rémi

Hi Rémi,

.lif files are what we call "multi image files", where each file does indeed contain a set of images, not just one image, so the warning here from OMERO is expected, and valid. Should you delete the underlying .lif, you will delete multiple images in OMERO.

It may be possible to split the files with other tools, and re-import to OMERO if that's what you desire - I'm not best placed to give advice on such workflows myself.

All the best,

Kenny
