OMERO and Ubuntu server

Postby slozosnitram » Tue Mar 01, 2016 10:18 am

Hi everybody,

I have dedicated server(with three hard drives for the moment) planning to install Ubuntu server 14.04 LTS so question is what is the best way to partition drives if I'm planning to use this particular server only for OMERO?

Hi

Could you give us more information about who's going to be using the server such as number of people, what size of images they'll be uploading, and your storage hardware- are these three separate physical drives, are they in a RAID array, and are they going to be used for the entire OMERO repository (Postgres database and image data) or is your image data going to be on an external separate storage array?
