Hi Patrycie,

Bio-Formats does not support writing DICOM files. Because DICOM is a very complex file format, we have no plans to support writing DICOM files.

There are many programs and libraries which can save DICOM files. The official DICOM website (http://medical.nema.org/) recommends using http://www.idoimaging.com/ for finding open source programs that can read and write DICOM files.

Thanks. I am working with OMERO and PACS with pathology (DICOM supplement 122) in my master's thesis. I want to transfer images of the PACS - DICOM to OMERO and/or OMERO to PACS-DICOM. How I could transfer these images?

Best regards

You can import DICOM files into OMERO using OMERO.importer.
