iScan Coreo BIF support

Hi everyone,
we are trying to use our OMERO.server installation (version 5.1.1) to handle images produced using an iScan Coreo Slide Scanner http://www.ventana.com/product/page?view=iscan but it seems that BioFormat is not supporting this file format.
Files are stored as *.bif files and OMERO is only able to properly display the full preview of the slide but zoom is not working (it handles the zoom levels as T-axis elements).
Are you going to introduce support for this images format soon?
If you need some sample images to reproduce the problem we are facing, let me know, I'll send something ASAP.

Hi Luca,

We can certainly look into adding support for Ventana .bif files. If you could upload at least one example, that would be much appreciated - we don't have any files of this type yet.

If the file(s) are smaller than 2GB when compressed in a Zip file, then they can be uploaded here:

http://qa.openmicroscopy.org.uk/qa/upload/

For anything larger than 2GB, let us know and we'll send alternate upload instructions privately.

I sent a ZIP archive with 3 BIF images using the upload module (you'll find the archive as COREO_BIF_imgs.zip), let me know it the upload was OK and if you need more images.
