Editing channel data for subset of a dataset

Postby davemason » Mon Mar 23, 2015 11:49 am

Hello OME team,

Is it possible to edit channel data for a subset of images in a dataset? I'm familiar with the "Apply to All" option in both Insight and the webclient, but that wouldn't work in the case. As soon as I select multiple images, the Channel controls disappear.

Is there any good way to do this? I've tried filtering image to just the ones I want but this still applies to all.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave,

In web and Insight, you can "Copy" the settings then select multiple images and right-click on them in the tree, the select > Rendering Settings > Paste and Save.

In Insight this right-click menu is also available from the thumbnails themselves.

Hope that helps,

Will.

Apologies. To clarify, I'm talking about Channel Names, not rendering settings.

Just in case, I tried the copy/paste approach but that does indeed only copy rendering settings.

Ah, sorry.
No, I'm afraid there's no way to do that just now.

Sorry about that.

Will.
