OMERO.web (5.3.5): project explorer hide files

Postby sukunis » Thu Oct 25, 2018 8:45 am

Hello,

today i notice the following behaviour:
I select a dataset with about 600 files and notice that only 200 files will appear in the project explorer. This are the same files as in the thumbnail viewer. If i go to the next 200 files in the thumbnail viewer, the project explorer refresh and shows only this files. I find that behavioral irritating, especially because the project explorer doesn't show any hint that only a subset will be loaded (the thumbnail viewer shows 1 2 3 next).
If i want to use AutoTag than it becomes critical, because i can't tag the whole dataset by selecting the dataset directory.

It is fix in the newest version?

Best Regards
Susanne

Dear Susanne

Thanks for your feedback
We have not worked on that part of the webclient so it is still the same display in the latest version of OMERO (5.4.9).
Will a range next to the number help? e.g. [0-200]/600?

Regards

Dear Jmarie,

i think that is a good idea. But i'm not shure if a normal user understands why only a part of files is loaded in the project explorer.
