.gel files appearing in OMERO with colours inverted

Postby vkgutierre » Tue May 10, 2011 5:46 am

Hi,
I have recently started using OMERO to store .gel images. However when I upload images they appear in OMERO with the colour inverted - like an old camera film negative. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and what I could do to get the images displaying correctly.
Many thanks,
Virginia

I'm using:
OMERO Importer Version: Beta4.2.2, Bio-Formats 4.2.2 (SVN 7317, 3 Dec 2010)
OMERO Insight Beta-4.2.0-DEV, Build April 18, 2011
Apple Mac

Hi Virginia,

Apologies for the delay in responding.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you right now.

The pixel values of the image in OMERO will be the same as they are in the original file, and OMERO will only render high pixel values whiter and lower values blacker.

I have made a 'ticket' of the feature request to "invert contrast" and we'll address this issue when we can.
