OMERO zoom percentage values

Postby chrisa » Wed May 08, 2019 9:19 am

We have an instance of OMERO installed at BGI that we are currently testing.

I'm testing on Chrome on the PC, and I note that whereas the +/- buttons allow me to zoom in/out of the image, the percentage values displayed in the left hand panel do not refresh.

In addition, if I make changes to the percentage values by manually typing in zoom percentage values, the main pan-and-zoom panel does not refresh.

Have you seen this problem before and do you know of a workaround?

Best wishes,

I should add that we are using OMERO 5.4.9 server.

Hi Chris,

I see the bug you mean. I think it's only on large tiled images.
However, I believe you're using the older viewer that ships with webclient. We now recommend that you install the newer OMERO.iviewer (https://www.openmicroscopy.org/omero/iviewer/) since we have stopped active development of the older viewer.

This handles tiled images much better and supports drawing of ROIs etc.
E.g. try it at https://idr.openmicroscopy.org/webclien ... ataset=373

Cheers,

Will.

Thanks Will!

We've installed OMERO.iviewer as you suggested and the bug has disappeared.

Many thanks,
Chris
